The Charles Riva Collection, in collaboration with Laffanour / Galerie Downtown Paris, presents LEVEL—a bold encounter between modern design and the sharpest voices in contemporary art. Icons of 20th-century furniture meet works by today’s cultural provocateurs, blurring the lines between function and expression, object and artwork.
We are thrilled to announce our second collaboration during the upcoming edition of Art Basel Paris, bringing together the Galerie Laffanour – Downtown Paris and Charles Riva Collection. The exhibition features an exceptional selection of iconic pieces by leading designers, including Jean Prouvé, Charlotte Perriand, Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, Tokujin Yoshioka, and Ron Arad, alongside contemporary artworks by internationally renowned artists such as Christopher Wool, Cheyney Thompson, Paul McCarthy, Georg Baselitz, Richard Serra, Steven Shearer, Sterling Ruby, Thomas Houseago, and Urs Fischer. This unique exhibition embodies the synergy between cutting-edge design and contemporary art, offering an immersive and visually striking experience.
